MCL-1044Game will not launch
I can log in without any trouble but when I click "play" the launcher runs through the code and closes but nothing else happens, the game does launch and I left the launcher running for 3 hours and it still did not open the game. I feel like I am missing something really obvious but I'm not sure.
Environment
Mac OS 10.8.4, Java update 25

But nothing else happens,nogame launchesand I left the launcher running for 3 hours and it still did not open the game. Try to reinstall Java ( http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572 ) and reinstall Minecraft ( http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/reinstalling-minecraft )
I did both and neither worked.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft / Launcher version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
No answer on query, assuming no longer an issue.
