MCL-11170Won't recognize any forge installs/edits to versions folder
The launcher will not reflect changes made in the minecraft versions folder, specifically when trying to install forge for 1.8.9. While the folder and it's contents are in .minecraft/versions, the launcher fails to recognize any changes made there, regardless of if its renaming a folder, adding a folder, or deleting a folder.

Did you restart the launcher fully? Without any game instance running?
Also, please attach launcher_log.txt from running the launcher while having the problem.
