MCL-14170Steam controller support no longer works
Controller support stopped working after launcher updated to the latest version (2.1.14949) on May 26, using Steam on Macbook pro with Xbox one controller. I've been playing this way for over a year with no issues until the last two days. The controller connects to steam and works fine, but won't work in the launcher or the game like normal.

Java Edition doesn't have and has never had official controller support. There must be something wrong with your setup outside of Minecraft.
