MCL-17756Linux is running on Chromebook, but Minecraft Java is not launching.
I just paid for and downloaded Minecraft Java for my son, and when I go to launch it gives me a message saying "failed to retrieve app info."
Linux App is running when I attempt this. Are there any steps that I'm missing?

Minecraft is not supported on Chromebooks and that is most likely the reason as to why you are experiencing this issue. The report is invalid as a result of this. Please see the Java Edition System Requirements article for more information.
The issue has been fixed. Minecraft Java is working on the Chromebook now.
