Seriously guys, you should've stayed on Windows 10. I mean Windows 11 is a new os with lots of kinks. So, it definitely doesn't improve stuff and may make it worse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21jH39rlvDA. It seems to me like it's literally a reskinned Windows 10 with extra bloatware.
I've tried to download the launcher from minecraft.net but is the same version as the one from microsoft store, both are updated, and i uninstalled the old launcher thinking that was the issue, that is also something they recommend for upgrading, but it caused more issues, i'll be using an unofficial launcher for now

This also happens to me, i click the button and it just closes, i can't play anymore basically
Download the original launcher here guys (it's the one that says Windows 7/8. Microsoft likes to hide this kind of stuff to get you to do what they want): https://launcher.mojang.com/download/MinecraftInstaller.msi
I have this same issue, is there a way to download the old launcher?
I uninstalled the old launcher and don't know how to get it back
