MCL-216371.18.1 and 1.18.2 not showing up in version installation list
The previous installation of Minecraft Java Edition is not available in the launcher installation menu. This happened when I attempted using 1.18.2 after the 1.19 release, and happened previously after the 1.18.2 release when I tried using the 1.18.1 version. I submitted a help ticket and they could not help.
What I expected to happen was...: I would create an installation to play on the previous version of Minecraft Java Edition.
What actually happened was...: The launcher did not display the previous version so I could not create an installation profile.

I checked and they were there!
Check again. They may not be in a consecutive order,

Does this issue still occur on the newest version of the Launcher?
I recommend uninstalling the Launcher, deleting .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and installing the Launcher again.
