Play button not in frame @ Linux
When the new launcher starts on my fedora the play and logout buttons at the bottom are cropped off I have to maximize the windows to start the game.
What I expected to happen was...:
I can see the play and logout buttons.
What actually happened was...:
I had to maximize the window.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. On fedora 18 (maybe on any OS when using the Jar type launcher)
2. start the launcher and you can see that there are no play and logout buttons at the bottom
3. maximize the window and the play and logout appears
Environment
OS: Fedora 18 x86_64
Java: 7

I just tried running the windows version under wine and could see the buttons. but of course this is not a solution merely a workaround.
We've yet to define a strict scheme for the layout that forces everything down to the pixels on all systems. Until we do that there will be certain issues on certain setups on certain systems. (Most likely those systems are going to be linux related ;D)
Did you look into SpringLayout?
