When trying to play minecraft on a Linux based PC or machine like the steam deck which is made for portability, users have to log into their account every time they wish to play the game, forcing the player base to use third party software that is unsafe, like PolyMC who has users data, for a game and player base dedicated to those of all ages, users should be able to use the offical launcher without having to worry about a bug like this
