MCL-3285LoadLibrary failed with error 87: The parameter is incorrect
I hit the play button and minecraft downloads all of the necessary files and after that the launcher disappears and a pop-up box says: LoadLibrary failed with error 87: The parameter is incorrect | I know there are other reports and solutions out there but none of them have solved this problem. Any help is appreciated. 
Environment
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
CPU: AMD A8 5600K 64-bit
Motherboard: Asus A88XM-A
RAM: 8GB 2400Mhz G.Skill Trident X
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7560D
I have also tried this with the ATI Radeon HD 2900 Pro XT with the same error occurring.
