Basically I can't play properly when going into the nether :S The game is freezing from time to time , cpu goes crazy from 60% to 100% from time to time. I'm playing on hard difficulty and it's really impossible to farm pigmens and ghasts not talking about fortresses ( this with full prot 4 set ).
It really pisses me off dying like that just because the game freezes.My PC is having more than the recommended requirements for MC.

I don't think I'm able to update the affected versions, but I just tested with 14w11b and launcher 1.3.11, and can report the bug still stands. Server connections are not tunnelled through the java proxy hosts.
Deleted account: Has Mojang added a channel handler that handles the proxy information? If they haven't changed the connection code, I would expect this bug to remain relevant.

As far as I know, ID 70 (0x46) isn't a valid packet id in Minecraft.
It is likely that this is a problem with the modded server you're playing on.
This is still an issue in Minecraft version 14w03b, 14w11b.
However, falling 22 blocks damages you by 19 health now, just like falling 23 blocks.
A 24 block fall still kills you.

The m argument indicates that the selector should only return survival mode players, leaving players who already are in adventure mode unaffected. Without the m=0 selector, I can reproduce this issue.

The file ends with server because this is a server-side issue that (in this case) has been caused by the internal server in Singleplayer.
Back up your world first or run the game on in a different folder (See the “new profile” dialog). Snapshots can corrupt your world.Most likely not, unfortunately.You can obviously delete the affected chunks with MCEdit or similar and regenerate them in 1.7, this won't regenerate your buildings though.
