I slept during a raid when the bar was loading for wave 5/5 to get back to daytime and the raid ended without spawning the final wave.

Have you tested this again to verify that it was sleeping that cancelled the raid? Raids will also cancel if a a valid spawning spot for the raiders is not found. That often happens when there is a lot of water around the village. See MCPE-56507.
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.
