Hum, that doesn't sound good since we haven't added them to the world generation system. Either something is seriously wrong with the algorithm or you level is cursed. I'm leaning against the later until we get some more reports.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
