Cannot craft a banner. Tried with both black and white wool, neither worked. Used this recipe: 6 Wool and 1 Stick, see attached screenshots.

Banners don't exist yet in the pocket edition of the game.
Please do not assume that the differences in behaviors between the PC, Pocket Edition, Gear VR, XBOX, PS3, or Raspberry Pi editions of Minecraft are bugs.
Sorry I didn't know, how can I tell what are the differences in behavior between PC and Gear VR (which is using Pocket Edition afaik)? If you have a link to the diffs please share and I promise to check it before making any more bugs. I did Google for it, no luck.
@Asteroyd The best way is to just follow up with the MCPE updates. Also, you can check the Minecraft Wiki to check if something has been added to a version.
