Can't reproduce the bug.
Please note that blazes aren't guaranteed to drop rods. If you are unlucky they drop nothing.
Trying it for 10 minutes I don't sure it's bad luck
Alright, I reopen the ticket so other mods/testers can look into it. But for me they really drop their rods, especially when I have Looting III swords.
Have you installed buggy add-ons ? I'have same issue in the older version (0.16).
Closing the ticket again.
[Mojang] Mega_Spud (Jay Wells) confirmed that he could acquire blaze rods even with a non-Looting sword.
