If you place obsidian then plow the ground under it the n plant and grow instantly the plants the obsidian block will vanish leaving a floating hitbox

I am not able to reproduce this. Could you please write are clear description, please add some pictures as well.
I think what he means to say is that if you place a dirt block down, then you put an obsidian block on top, you use a hoe on the dirt and you plant some seeds the obsidian disappears
Cleaning up all the old issues - please reply if this affects 0.9.3.
