MCPE-27511Weird Lighting Even With Torches
In caves or dark areas, when I place a torch there will be a lot of shaded areas on every block. At first it didn't happen until my Friend joined my world. This happened to my brothers device too.(Ipad air 1)
First picture is very Long ago, the second picture is now. (The first picture is the best I got)

This same thing happens to me
Just a hunch but I assume you will get a resolved message on this bug shortly as it has already been reported and they will call this a duplicate. This (to the best of my knowledge) affects all platforms. It is most noticeable when using smooth lighting and turning off smooth lighting will at least make things not look so dark (this is helpful when mining). This has been an issue since the update to 1.2 Better Together.
