I found a ghost block glitch using pistons, it's quite weird. You can have floating sand using it but it will disappear when you exit the world.and btw you can't abuse it to duplicate blocks.

Could not reproduce in Windows 10. I tried about 25 times and the sand always fell.
Someone else should try this on another Android device.
Replicated it on win 10
