Im play to "vanilla" version. I try find with Eye of Ender a End Portal in Creation mode. Then I get into Stronghold the Eye stuck in the middle of stones, in a place there the Portal must be. Im try over 10 times with differens map sids. Same problem in Android version.

1 - Im start New Game in Creative mode. Select random seed: -567366569; Position: 188, 70, 12
2 - Im start throw Eyes and I follow to they direction.
3 - The Eyes stop on Position: -971, 95, -365. Here Im start dig down.
4 - Im get into Stronghold.
5 - Continie dig and finaly get place there End Portal must be. But there only stones. Position: -976, 30, -365

2 - Im start trowing Eyes and I follow to they direction.
3 - The Eyes stop on Position: -971, 95, -365. Im start dig down.
4 - Im get into Stronghold.
5 - Continie dig and finaly get place there End Portal must be. But there only stones. Position: -976, 30, -365

Some portals aren't as accurate as you would expect the Eye of Ender points at in some seeds. You will have to look for it across Stronghold. Sometime, there isn't a clear access to the portal. You might have to break the stone walls to find it.
Eyeth, you're right. I detonate lots of TNT and found the portal.
Im sorry. Just in old versions of minecraft this is was no such problem to find the portal and for this reason Im considered that this is a bug...
