Can't locate server
There was a local server from my little sister online, so I pressed it to play on it. Also, there was no name of the server viewed.
What I expected to happen was...:
Play Multiplayer!
What actually happened was...:
I pressed the on it and there was a screen with 'Locating Server'. So I was waiting for the world. But then there came a screen: Could not connect!

I have this same issue. My son's iPod, my iPhone and my daughter's iPad all run Minecraft PE v0.7.1 full version.
The iPad can connect with the iPhone and the iPod with any as server. The iPod and iPad can connect with either as server. The iPhone and iPod cannot connect with either as server. They all connected without problems with the previously installed version. (Not sure what version that was, sorry).
The common denominator is the visibility of the server name. If the server IP is shown with a name in the connection list then the connection will proceed. It the server name is not displayed above the IP the connection will fail. All devices have a unique name.
Local server is enabled on all three devices. All three devices are running v0.7.1 of the paid version of Minecraft PE.
maybe the local server option was disabled
I've had similar strangeness under Android.
Both devices connected to the wireless network, the tablet in game and setup to share as server. The other device (phone) when it looks at the game list sees the server briefly then it disappears. Wait for a few seconds though and it reappears before vanishing once more. Need quick reactions to hit the server instance to connect but it does connect.
Cleaning up old issues, please reply if affecting 0.9.3
