Can repro on PS4 on the 1.14.41 update.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a sign
2. Attempt to use the section symbol or any international character (MCPE-62559)
Observed Results:
The flashing cursor disappears and nothing shows on the sign
Expected Results:
The sign should show the section symbol.
It's possible both bugs could be tracked under MCPE-62559 as it would appear they're caused by the same issue but its definitely still occurring.

I've noticed this to. What platform are you on? I can still use color codes on the Android version, but I can't on PS4. For now, you'll have to use another platform.
Still occurring on the 1.14.30 Hotfix and 1.14.40 Hotfix. It's impossible to put some special characters (é,è,@,ê ... and same the color characters §) on signs, anvils, books, anywhere you can write
