MCPE-92368Items disappearing from hoppered chests
Build 4385877, latest PS4 release as of July 18 2020
Put 6 stacks of coal into a chest with a hopper under it and then closed the chest to see where the hopper was at (if it was close to full) it had 4 stacks and 54 in it and then stopped. Looked into the top chest and it was empty. All 6 stacks of coal disappeared.

Any chance you could provide a video of this happening?
I finally figured out what happened, the hoppers were in the auto smelter design.

C is chest
H is hopper with directions specified
S is smelter
The items I put into the chest on the top left ended up somehow getting put into the hopper above the smelter. Jammed the whole system.
I'm glad you figure it out. Perhaps you put some coal in the wrong hopper by mistake. Or, if you have hopper minecarts nearby they do have glitches to be wary of, MCPE-57637 and
MCPE-68912.I was thinking that too. I'll watch it to see if it happens again. Thanks
