I listed the steps, it is easy to reproduce.
This is confirmed, But its awaiting confirmation? I guess somebody chose confirmed instead of community consensus.
This happened me and a friend on our world.
I did fly into the end gateway and he pearled into it at the same time.
So you don't have to have enderpearls, just enter it in someway at the same time.
Some extra information: I think you get tp'd to 0, 0, 0. But I'm not completely sure.
Luckily, I know my own ways to cheat the stuff back in without losing the achievements. I'm writing that down soon to a private bug report.
