MCPE-96259Portals are not linked right
Before the last update to 1.16.2, I created a portal that went to the nether a bunch of times without issue. Now when I go to the nether in the same portal it will spawn a new portal outside of where it was originally. Instead of it being in my basement it is now outside of my house at the same level but different spot. Then I thought well maybe that portal link is just broken, I went to a village that is about 1000 block west and 1000 block north of my house and built a new portal thinking I would get a new spot in the mether to explore, I spawn back at the same spot in the nether as I did the first time. Then I went back to my house broke all portals and went back to the village one and broke that moved 25 blocks away and rebuilt it, still spawned in the Nether at the original spot. It is almost like the nether portals are all linking to the original spawn portal in the nether. I am running this in a Realm. Today I think I will make a backup and try to recreate the issue to make sure it is not a Realm issue.

It is very likely that this is a duplicate of
MCPE-39609, which is working as intended. However, to be certain, please provide the exact coordinates of the portals at the time the player enters and exits along where you expect them to link to.The starting Portal is 1033 66 123, Nether Portal is 127 58 14. I broke the starting portal, went to 527 87 -175 created a portal, went to the nether, that Nether Portal 127 58 14, came out of the nether portal at 1025 66 121. Mind you that the Portal created was at 527, 87, -175, and the starting Portal was broke before creating the new portal. I guess it wasn't 1000 block but it was 500 and that should be far enough away to be in a new spot in the Nether.
500 blocks in the overworld is only 62 or so blocks in the nether, so that is not far enough away. For best results, build portals in the nether at exactly X/8 ~ Z/8 from overworld and they should always link up.
