Using Flint and Steel in incorrect places causes bugs
When using Flint and Steel in a place where it can't, such as on the underside of a stone block, no fire will be produced but a flash of light will appear. Using it on floating sediment blocks also updates them and makes them fall.

Flint and steel produces light if you try to set on fire on a underside of a block, or in a wall (except for flamable blocks), for example.
that's my point.
Yeah, that is how it's supposed to work.
It is intended? Interesting...
He light produced is still kind of buggy though. Sometimes blocks beside well lit blocks are really dark.
Some dodgy lighting here
