Does it say the realm is out of date or your game version?
What version is shown on the first Minecraft screen?
Are you the realm owner? If not, have you checked with the realm owner to make sure the realm itself is updated to the latest version?
You might also include a screenshot of the message.

it says 'could not connect outdated client realms has updated . i know 1.21.2 released today but when i load from mincraft launcher and select latest version it loads to 1.21.1. i am not the realm owner but i am pretty sure the realm auto updates to the newest version when a update releases
Have you been able to update to 1.21.2? If so, did that solve the issue?
i wasnt able to update it till this morning it game me the option too. thanks for the help
