Bugs In 1.13 Realm Server [Unplayable]
1) We are just casually playing some minecraft survival mode, and then randomly it kicks us with the reasons:
- "Disconnected"
- "Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: The connection has been stopped from a far" (something like this)
- "Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.CorruptedFrameException: lenght wider than 21-bit"
- "Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.CorruptedFrameException: java.util.zip.DataFormatException: incorrect header check."
- "Internal Expection: io.netty.handler.codec.Decoder.Expection: Badly compressed packet - size of 126 is below server threshold of 256"
If it kicks someone, it always kicks all the online players, with different reasons (Mentioned before), and sometimes, even crashes all of our clients. After re-logging, we get "send back in time" (So for example, i have already harvested the wheat, and then it kicks me, i would have to harvest it again) No, its not net lag, as i mentioned it before we do have really good internet up, and download speed. And it can't even be net lag because we still have connection to the server. (I mean we can still interact with the world, open chests, containers, kill mobs, players, break/place blocks[Yes, we do get the blocks, loots, etc])
2) We tried to download the world, optimize it (Single player -> Edit -> Optimize), then re-upload it, but it didn't help. We tried to reload the realm multiple times, and still nothing helped.
3) Now, we can't even join the realm, because it keeps kicking us instantly.
4) There are other issues with realms nowadays, they're really slow, if we try to use chat, it usually takes several seconds to send the command/message. It's not that bad, we are used to lag, but still not everyone is that OK with a laggy server.
5) There was a really weird, and bad bug too, we don't know how it happened but basically, we were playing casually, when i got kicked, and nobody else did. I tried to re-log, and i could but no one else was online. I was in a voice call with them, and they said they were still online, and fine. So there were two separated servers within the same realm, after i told them to re-log it fixed, but several hours of work lost there.
6) We live in Hungary, i don't really know where the realms servers are, but i know it can take few seconds to log in. Now it take even minutes to login.
Thanks for reading my report, i hope you can solve it.

Environment
- We are both using the latest java version
- We are not using any client modifications (I meant "JVM arguments, and such")
- Really good internet (300/100)
- Really good pc (I7, gtx970ti) [I am getting 60+ fps in every game except in MC 1.13]
- Realm server (4 active members) [Owner's IGN: "az_a_gyerek"]
- No command blocks, no functions running
- We are trying to keep the world size low, just so you don't have to worry about it :>
- None of us are in creative nor in spectator just so we don't generate chunks quickly.
- We are trying to not use elytras just so we don't generate chunks quickly.
- We are not using any modifications
- We are using no resource packs (just so we can make sure, that it doesn't effect it)
- Our map was generated in 1.13.0
- Important Video Settings:
- Graphics: Fancy

I posted about this issue on this other report: REALMS-1205
Here's the error message my daughter received just now: Crashlog 17.08.18 20.39pm.txt![]()
It happens to me a lot as well!
When I try to join a realm , my game crashes.
We are a group of family members all using the same realm, hosted by a member in Utah, USA. We have, since the most recent update 1.13, a lot of lag, for all of us, and have had problems with the realm server not keeping up with what we're doing (resetting location to a previous location, not dropping mined blocks). Twice now we have had everyone get booted en masse. When we try to rejoin, the game gets to the realm list screen; the realm in question shows the same number of players online as there were before the crash, but we have all been booted and are not on it. When we try to get onto the realm, the game crashes back to the launcher screen and gives an error message. I will attach the error message in a separate document. There are sometimes as many as 7 or 8 people online at one time; the most recent crash occurred when there were 5 or 6 (unclear whether the crash happened before or after the 6th person joined). The first time this happened, we tried for a couple days to get back on, with crashes every time. Today six of us were able to get on and play for several minutes, then we were all booted at once and the realm list says there are still five people on the realm, though none of us are on it. The realm world is quite large; we have traveled far and wide. As I am not the realm owner, I don't know the exact size of the world file.
Crashing clients on join is
REALMS-1116. Lag and perf in 1.13 is an issue which we are actively trying to solve. Unfortunately the issues are not experienced by everyone, so it's a matter of diagnosing, identifying the perf issues, patch them and release them. 1.13.1 will contain several of them.Since this is not a forum for discussions, as per https://bugs.mojang.com/projects/MC/summary, I'm going to close this bug as duplicate of
REALMS-1116. But thank you for sharing, and rest assured we are working on these issues.
