Got the exact same problem here. My friend and me tried for hours to connect, made sure it's not the firewall, suddenly get in the realm, but had no land, only water, tried to reconnect, and since then we're not able to connect anymore.
Same problem. Logged out about an hour ago and tried to log back in about 15 minutes ago and it says connecting with the loading bars but never logs in.
Can’t load my realms or anyone else’s but have friends who can load realms just not my realms

Same issue with my realms and entering my friend's realms as well. It will not connect. We have restarted the computer multiple times already. Is there an issue with realms system-wide? Is there someone working to fix this issue? Thank you.
Same issue with a friend's realm, he can't log on either.
Made my account just to hop on this train. My buddies and I can't connect to my realm.
It won't restore to a backup either. I was able to close and reopen but that did not help surprisingly.

Ditto. Java. Just bought a subscription, Neither me nor my friend can play, bought them a copy of Minecraft with the Realms payment an hour ago...
We had a temporary outage , but Realms should be back up and running now.
