REALMS-352Realms failing to download- MCPE
Whenever I try to download my realm onto my device, it says failed. My realm uses addons, and that may be a little bit of the problem, but this bug prevents me from backing up my realm in case it gets griefed or I need to download a new build. This has been happening to me ever since 1.0.9

I can confirm that this issue is still happening on the date I'm typing this post. This has been going on since September 2017? perhaps even earlier?
This is beyond stupid, we are paying for a monthly subscription and fatal flaws like this still exist with the game/service?
this isn't the only issue I've had with realms, me and my friends also had problems like chunk errors, voids, forming in overworld and killing us, if it wasn't for my backup file our world would've been finished for good. And on Minecraft java we got locked out of our realm once due to errors.
Sorry but, it kinda kills the enjoyment of the game when we cannot trust the server we're using.
No offence devs but if this is the best you can do then I'm going to cease paying for this. I know you're all busy with the Switch version but you've got to fix the problems with the realms first, or you'll only receive complaints and protesting.

EXACTLY. I already posted this in REALMS-352. I'm no moderator, but please check if others have this issue before you post.
Also have this issue, version 1.1.5 realm is about 900mb, it was ok until I reached about 800mb. NO add-on for on this realm. It says Initializing Download for a minute or so, then failed. tried many, multiple times same results. windows 10 edition
We also have this issue, version 1.1.5. Haven't been able to download the realm. Last succesfull download was ca 400Mb. This was on sept 10th. I tried a lot of times. Always says. Initializing download, - wait - failed. At 0%.
Please help!
Admins and Developers, can we get this fixed or what? We are actually paying for this service constantly. Its a joke to keep supporting something that cripples our worlds
Does this still happen in 1.2? We will look into it more in detail either way.
Do you mind telling me the Realm name for the affected Realms? That can help us investigating the issue.
I agree with them. . I spent 2 hours on the phone with Microsoft convinced it may be something to do with my end and they didn't even know this was an on going issue. .. I Love minecraft and I get you guys have a lot of your plate. . But we are paying every month for a broken product... there needs to be a remedy to this.
I have attempted to download it on all 3 platforms associated with bedrock 1.2.1360.70
I have found over a dozen tickets on this very issue. The name of my realm is Regency if that is helpful. I have a lot of players on my realm. I can't afford to lose it because I can't even axcess my own work anymore. This has been an issue for me for over 3 months last time I could get a successful download it was 2gb or so. Please don't just leave this an open ticket not telling us your doing anything about it.
I have the Same Problem as of 1.5.0. sometimes it'll say 0.00mb/0.00mb and soft locks my Console and/or Phone
This is occurring on xbox one as well
