Cannot claim free trial

What I expected to happen was...:
When going about claiming my free trial for Minecraft realms
What actually happened was...:
In trying to claim Minecraft realms it only shows me the offer of purchasing the realm even though I have never started one before
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Going on to Minecraft realms in the main options and clicking "Want to get your own realm"
2. Clicking on get a free trial that takes you to purchasing menu
