I'm having the same problem at the moment. All my chests are invisible. This bug needs to be reopened.
During an Illager raid, the Bad Omen status effect keeps stacking and creating new raids on top of the other, creating an endless cycle of Illagers. Since you have to be inside the village to fight the raid, there is no way of dealing with the onslaught and it is impossible to overcome.

My name-tagged, diamond-armoured horse "Neddy" disappeared randomly whilst on manoeuvres. I inspected the local area and there was no way it could have died or travelled far within the time. However, I did find the diamond horse armour and the saddle, along with some leather. A few minutes later, I tamed a new horse and rode it back to my home. When I dismounted, it disappeared, right in front of me. Definitely a bug.

@LeatherBootsMC, please stop vandalizing your own reports and changing their security level. If you keep doing this you will be banned.
I've attached the crash report. I managed to escape the End but the Ender Pearls weren't working. I had to use a trapdoor to crawl.
