I know they counted to it before as the switch was working in 1.15.2 and in the snapshot before. It is just as of the latest snapshot where they seem to not count towards the mob cap even when I am stood right next to them
Hi, so out of pure frustration from this i used creative mode to replace the shulkers and it seems to be fine now. It seems like the update caused the old shulkers to be ignored by the mobcap. Still not sure exactly why it happened. Any suggestions on how i can prevent this happening again?
I have done some further testing and i am pretty certain that if a shulker is in a minecart it does not count towards the mobcap. I spawned in 70 new shulkers in a single player world and mobs would not spawn around me. however, when i spawned 70 shulkers and had them trapped in minecarts, monsters would start spawning again. Not sure why this is happening but some help would be greatly appreciated.
