I've had that issue too! Whenever I push one, it goes all stiff and its hands disappear.
I can simply walk into the block, no elytra or anything needed.
Oh I forgot to include the video! So sorry. The world is on superflat, and the coordinates were 240, -210. I went on to check just now and the glitch is gone.
