Minecraft now fails to launch after updating Java to the latest version (JRE 6.0_25-b06)
Steps to reproduce:
1)Run minecraft.exe
2)See Error log created at exe location and application fails to run.Occurred: 10/10 attempts

Launching using the pre-release is successful.

Ah, fair enough, will test with correct version. Thanks for letting me know. I will update the bug with my results soon.
Yes this solved my issue. Funny how the auto updater didn't actually do anything.
How do i go about closing this issue?
