When I pick up the item
And force quit Minecraft pocket
And open the world again
Then the item is in my inventory
And the item is NOT on the ground
What actually happened was...:

Steps to Reproduce
Put one item in your inventory (step 1.png)
Throw it on the ground (step 2.png)
Wait for 10 seconds (presumably the inventory and the map chunks both save at this time)
Pick up the item
Immediately quit (presumably the inventory is saved immediately, but we are quitting before the map chunks have saved, as per comments by Luis Robles)
reload the world (step 3.png)
You can see you have the item in the inventory and on the ground (step 4.png)
Picking up the item proves it's duplicated, as it's in the inventory twice (step 5.png)
