Strays dont spawn in powder snow even though they are immune to it.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a new superflat world with this preset: "minecraft:bedrock,1*minecraft:grass_block,minecraft:powder_snow;minecraft:snowy_tundra"
Use the command /time set midnightPress f3 and see how the monster mobcap number wont go up.

The bug
Lava lakes can generate with exposed lava blocks.

The cause
From Boas Bakker in MC-216837.
The new caves, the noise caves, dont generate cave air. They generate normal air. The lava that generates under y -53, only generates in place of cave air. This means that lava can generate weirdly if normal caves intersect with the noise caves low in the world.
Can confirm, but is maybe working as intended?
I see it is marked as duplicate, but the problem in this case is not the cave air, it is the weird lava generation

Yeah, altough in this bug report i add the cause of this issue, the noise caves that do not generate cave air, and lava only replaces cave air, not normal air.

Also not only gravel and sand patch generation is affected by this, also structures like villages can let grass generate in locations it shouldn't
