This probably won’t need to be reopened since the Chunk Builder option was added
The Bug:
Recipe toasts cycle between newly unlocked recipes too fast when unlocking large amounts of recipes.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Unlock all possible recipes by running the following command.
/recipe give @s *- Look at the recipe toast that appears.
- Take note as to whether or not recipe toasts cycle between newly unlocked recipes too fast when unlocking large amounts of recipes.
Observed Behavior:
Recipe toasts cycle between newly unlocked recipes too fast making it incredibly difficult to comprehend what recipes were unlocked.
Expected Behavior:
Recipe toasts would not cycle between newly unlocked recipes too fast.
The Bug:
Recipe toasts cycle between newly unlocked recipes too fast when unlocking large amounts of recipes.
This issue has been made worse as of 1.20 Pre-release 1, and can easily be triggered by obtaining any dye. Doing so will cause the recipe every single colored block to be unlocked at once, causing them to flash by faster than before.

I just noticed the splash pictured below is slightly cut off at the edge of the screen.

Banners are only showing the stick frame and not the wool part in the inventory and hotbar. This makes it near-impossible to tell what the banner looks like without placing it.
Images are from Minecraft on Nintendo Switch.

Can confirm in 1.20.1

Thank you
Can confirm for 1.19.2
hmm
I can confirm that the bug has been fixed in the 1.19.21 hotfix.
Didn’t think about that
Not sure if that new “notification display time” slider in 1.19.4 snapshot 23w03a makes a difference. I’ll have to test it.
This ticketneeds to be reopened IMO. Here’s why:
With the ability to re-dye blocks in 1.20 Pre-release 1, obtaining a dye allows for this bug to be easily replicated, possibly even in SURVIVAL MODE. Yes, this bug just got way worse.
Just attached my image from
MCPE-173587, taken on my Nintendo SwitchUPDATE: Huh, so apparently armadillos are getting released early in 1.20.5. That's strange.
