Steps to Reproduce:
- Unlock all possible recipes by running the following command.
/recipe give @s *
- Look at the recipe toast that appears.
- Take note as to whether or not recipe toasts cycle between newly unlocked recipes too fast when unlocking large amounts of recipes.
Observed Behavior:
Recipe toasts cycle between newly unlocked recipes too fast making it incredibly difficult to comprehend what recipes were unlocked.
Expected Behavior:
Recipe toasts would not cycle between newly unlocked recipes too fast.

You can go full speed by running the command /recipe give @s *
Not sure if this really is a seizure issue though, the area where the items flip through is very limited in space as opposed to the whole screen.

Confirmed. I've made some slight alterations to this ticket to clearly state the potential problem here. I've removed the part from this report regarding the photosensitive epileptic seizures since the area where the toast cycles through all newly unlocked recipes is incredibly small as opposed to the whole screen.
Not sure if that new “notification display time” slider in 1.19.4 snapshot 23w03a makes a difference. I’ll have to test it.

This ticketneeds to be reopened IMO. Here’s why:
With the ability to re-dye blocks in 1.20 Pre-release 1, obtaining a dye allows for this bug to be easily replicated, possibly even in SURVIVAL MODE. Yes, this bug just got way worse.
