No, that is not the issue. There is no game lag, just no sound when playing 1.21.1. I will make a video.

Yes. I've checked the mixer. It is not muted. When I close version 1.21.1 it crashes with error code 1073740791. Version 1.20.1 has no issues, and sound works good. I've tried every solution that I could find, and none of them work. The issue is within the new version. All previous versions from 1.20.1 work fine. The only work around I've found is to load v1.20.1, leave it open, then load v1.21.1. If I do this, the sound will work, and the game does not crash on exit.
Found a work around for playing new versions missing audio. Load up an older version 1.20.1 or older, but keep the launcher & game open on the main menu. Then load up the new version, the audio should then work. Close out the old version, and play the new version.
