Plugging it in with a cable does not resolve. Restarted phone, cleared cache.

I think this is an odd change that doesn't make sense. Many mobs are able to ride boats/rafts and if Camels can't then this needs to be reviewed across the board. However, transporting/storing mobs via boats is very common by technical MC players. Here is an image that was shared proving this change is not consistent. There are many other mobs that can ride boats/rafts/minecarts and I feel restricting Camels from boats/rafts is an odd choice as they are quite more likely to make sense than a Ghast for example.

I tried using a cable from the controller to my phone and turned off Bluetooth on my phone. Same result, controller is detected but only recognises the abxy buttons, nothing else. Seems like it's not just Bluetooth.
Seems to also be an issue with my son's Lenovo Android tablet (completely different Android version and brand) with a totally different brand of controller 8Bit Duo Pro. Seems like all external controls for any android device from what I am seeing.
