Havent gotten any feedback in awhile, was this fixed in 15w44a?
Since it was a random occurence, I would have no steps to replicate it.
Justin here is a member of my server, and we all are facing this issue since 15w42. So we have done our best to stay out of the Nether. Hopefully this can be resolved!
Happened again in 15w46a (did not have fraps open to record it again).
I recommend changing it form a launcher problem to a game problem. Also as a fix, use MCEdit or worldedit like tool to remove the area where the blocks were.
