I've had iron golems keep swinging at the ground after killing a skeleton. I've had skeletons keep shooting at the empty space after they killed the iron golem. They stop doing this if you save and quit the game and come back.
To reproduce, give a skeleton full diamond armor with protection 4 or 3. Make a golem, and splash it with weakness, maybe damage it a bit. The skeleton should kill the golem once attacked. It will then continue to shoot at the same spot forever (if it has no new targets).

Zombies don'tattackiron golemsZombies don't retaliate against iron golems
Even if you armor up the zombie, give it a sword, it will never attack back at the iron golem once it is hit. I think this is a bug because skeletons and endermen DO retaliate against the iron golem.
I think when a villager becomes a zombie, this new zombie should have the same name as the villager did. Also when this zombie is cured, he should become the same type of villager he was before (priest -> zombie -> priest) and keep his name. The trades re-randomizing is understandable since he went through a huge trauma.
This doesn't happen, so I think it is a bug.

I came here to report the same bug, but I found your report first. I had to replace my wooden fence with nether brick fence. After doing this, zombies no longer path find'ed around the fence, but tried to jump over it. When I put back the wooden fence, they were smart and walked around. I remember stone walls had this issue before, so I think Mojang just forgot to apply the same fix to nether brick fences.
I normally use my usb mouse, and minecraft has been fine for me. But I tried using the track pad and I couldn't break blocks while holding "walk forward" key "w".
