I was playing when i founded an wandering trader, then i paid for him 3 emeralds for a dark oak sapling, I planted it, I waited like 8 or 9 game days but it didn't grown, I also tried a few decks of bone meal but it still not growing

I know these are not supported version since they are pretty old, but the problem is not on those versions exactly, because when I simply want to play an older version for a nostalgia session It is so hard to do so because there is absolutely no sound in them, I heard it was some problem with the mojang servers not having those sound files anymore, but I would really love (and plenty of other people to) for this to be fixed so I can properly play on them withouth having to rely on a alternate launcher or having to ocassionally tweak the files myself, life would be so much better this way, I sincerelly hope someone sees this and is able to fix it, It has been a problem for so long, I just want to be able to paly those versions normally like the newer ones
Also skins do not work in the same versions, from early alpha and classic to r

I think this happens every in system, personally I tested it on Windows 7, 8, multiple Windows 10 systems and windows 11

But isn't is supposed to smelt stone things (cobblestone and stone ) too?

You need to open in a beta 1.8 or 1.8.1 version first to open the alpha word in 1.7, anyways is normal to happen those chunck errors when opening a old world in a newer version,hope that this helped
Actually is pretty normal for a rabbit to not drop meat sometimes, it has a chance of droping it, unlike pigs or cows that aways drop at least 1 meat
This doesnt happen only in the nether, It happened to me a few times that creepers/ zombies/ skeletons spawned in between bamboos on the overworld
and this crafting table is looking kinda weird
The main problem are sounds not working on old version, It´ss literally so hard to make the game play sounds and correctly on alpha and Beta versions that I and plenty of other people really love to play
Not having skins on those versions is also sad
