@Karl Overton - Is that happening on a Realm, or a local world?
I am also getting this issue "Unable to connect to world"
Both my wife and I are using MCPE v1.0.4
Both of us are using iPhone 6s on iOS 10.2.1
Both of us have Microsoft X-box Live logins
If I start my MCPE and go to "Friends" I can join her game over LAN before my Xbox Live signs in and there is no problem. (which is fine while we're at home together, except that I can't gain achievements)
If I wait until my X-Box Live is signed in I get the error. (which is annoying when I'm not home and/or if I want to work toward achievements.)

Updated to both 1.0.5 and since 1.0.6 and issue still remains, "Unable to connect to world" when logged into X-Box Live
We have also tested on my Windows 10 Minecraft PE of the same version 1.0.6 with the same results.
Same issue - iPhone 6s and iPod Touch for my wife, daughter and myself
Waiting patiently for an update to fix!

Same issue here - LAN and private server that never had an issue previously. Tested five PC's.
Was advised to lodge on a support forum rather than "bug" forum.
2 players both Windows 10, v1.14.105 - game doesn't even crash, we just both leave the chunk and return shortly and the hopper-minecart is gone.
