I'm having the same problem! Not new world either! I've been working on this world for a while, it's an old type and it got smaller!
I am really sorry about that, I did not know this was a duplicate I literally freaked out when I thought I found a bug lol
I removed the beta launcher to get back in, I will check once more to see if its fixed
