I hide barrels behind the wall behind my nether portal, and sometimes I walk into the nether portal as I open a barrel and it sometimes, if the timing is just right, will cause containers like barrels and chests to appear open, but you cannot access the items inside the container. I learned that if you then open a crafting block like a crafting table, stone cutter, or cartography table, it will then allow containers to work normally. I have also tried opening a crafting table and walking into a nether portal, but it doesn't seem to have the same bug.
I was expecting maybe the chest would work like a the crafting table and it would close as you enter the portal, however it stayed open, and I could not open any containers until I exited the world and came back, opened a crafting block, or went into another dimension.

There is a video clip below that demonstrates how to replicate this issue.
There are other reports addressing issue however I thought I would try to make a more effective bug report so we can make it easier to confirm since the others are marked as "Unconfirmed" and "Awaiting Response." The ones I've found are
MCPE-89340,MCPE-124782,MCPE-129522. These reports describe the issue in previous versions. I only added the current version since I cannot personally confirm previous versions This issue may be related toMCPE-42058since they are all movement related issues that happen at the edge of an old size world.Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new world with "World Type" set to "Old"
2. Go within 16 blocks of the world border
3. Crouch and walk off of an edge of a blockObserved Results:
The player falls off the edge of the blockExpected Results:
The player is prevented from falling off the edge of the block

Sneaking within 16 blocks of 2 of the world borders of an old size world doesn't prevent falling off an edge of a block

I tested this and they have fights even when they aren't naturally spawned

MCPE-65419This problem wasn't fixed it occurs in 1.16.100. I added a video clip you can see it isn't in beta because there is no text at the top of the screen.
Edit: Oh no I'm stupid, I understand why its in the current version now, sorry 1.16.200.52 is the fixed beta version
Is this intentional game design or a bug?
I have this problem with my helmet...
