Since the 1.17 update, when I use a shovel on some sand or dirt blocks, they don't break properly. Some of them disappear and drop a block, but if I walk into where they were I get stuck and shake until I can move away from them. If I attempt to dig the place where the block was, it reappears. Then I can dig the block normally. I can also break them normally if I use my bare hand.
The glitch is not consistent, as in blocks will sometimes break normally and sometimes glitch. This happened repeatedly while trying to dig some dirt and sand blocks on a small island. It did not happen when digging dirt and gravel blocks underwater a chunk or two away. At this time, I have not carefully experimented to find out exact conditions that trigger the glitch.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Use shovel on dirt or sand blocks above water.
2. Attempt to walk through where block was.
3. Get stuck in invisible block.
4. Move chaotically until invisible block releases you.
5. Use shovel on invisible block, and watch block reappear. The attached photos show a patch of sand after I hit four blocks with the shovel and again after hitting the area some more. Note the block in the front center that has reappeared.

I am having this issue as well. I am using a MacBook Pro.
I am encountering the same issue. I am unable to trade with two out of my three clerics and one farmer. The trade menu appears for an instant and then disappears.
I am playing on a MacBook Pro, if that helps.
Still in 1.14.3.
It's not just a cosmetic issue. I fell through a patch of floating snow into a lava lake while carrying two large, filled out maps. I was not happy.
I have this issue and then some. Not only do displayed prices not match the actual costs, but also the trading progress bar does not increase, even after high level trades. See attached screenshots of before and after trading with a villager. Before, there is no progress bar, and glowstone costs 4 emerald. After, I have spent 3 emerald, and the progress bar has not gone up.
I haven't seen rain or snow in my java survival world in real world months, and I've never had a thunderstorm in it. I have only been in wet or cold biomes, so I should be getting precipitation every few days, correct? I haven't used any commands, either, so I don't know how weather would be turned off.
I don't know if it's related, but I also haven't seen or heard any wandering traders in a very long time. I've only started encountering pillager scouting parties since the last bug fix update
I tried to upload, but the file is too big. Can you recommend another site to upload it to so I can link it?
I have this issue in 1.16.1 on a Mac. Two villages found just yesterday have multiple structures floating in the air. My seed is 5680317535129005843. A desert village is at -1445, 72, -2952. A plains village is at -1713, 62, -2461.
The desert village has multiple farms and a butcher house floating in midair, and the terrain is very patchy and uneven, not really matching the contours of the surrounding hills. I had already blocked off flowing water by the time I took the screenshots. I approached this village from the west.
The plains village is a complete mess! Almost the entire ground is grass path. There are patches of bare dirt (no grass) where it appears that something that was supposed to be present but was replaced with air blocks. Most structures are floating one or more blocks above the ground. There is an exposed cave under one of the floating houses (I build the dirt bridge).
I have this problem as well. I first noticed it shortly after the Nether update. It usually happens when two villagers are by the same door, but sometime it's just one villager. I play on a Mac, if that makes any difference.
I have a similar issue, if not the same one. Sometimes, when I open the game, I have to click title screen buttons several times to get them to respond. When this happens, I always close Minecraft and restart it because I don't want to risk my game not responding when I'm trying to play. Here's a crash report.
