When having an active repeating command block in your world with an /entitydata command that sets the age of @e[type=Item] to a negative value (For example: /entitydata @e[type=Item]
{Age:-1}) and then using /give, it will still give you the item but it will also spawn a phantom item that can't be picked up. It's still recognised by Minecraft as an actual item since /kill @e[type=Item] actually kills the item.

Sometimes, playing 'ambient.cave'
gives a weird glitched-out sound instead of the usual cave noises. It only occurs rarely. I'd say about 1/10th / 1/15th of the time.
To give aan example, I recorded it. The sound can be heard in this video at 0:14: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0-rsYeqCB0
