Falling in the void while having the chat window open doesn't make appear the death screen.
While typing and falling on the void,you will actually die (take damage;death message min chat),but the death screen (respawn button/title screen) wont appear until you close the chat,or send the message.(the message will appear in chat).
All gamemodes.
Both single player and multi player confirmed.
(if you notice the minimap/optifine,I tested also on on vanilla earlier)

I managed to obtain a 2 emeralds trade for bookshelves on a cured villager, the default pricing is 3 emeralds but it seems to go down by messing with the demand/supply system. (I was just looping the trade to level him up, a while before I had bought the enchanted books)
2 emeralds for the bookshelf, 3 books, resell the books, get rich
Note that another cured villager is working near this villager.
Edit: redid in creative and the other villager wasn't needed
Confirmed on SP,sound keeps on playing until it's end. (It's not a loop)
Can't reproduce,it's probabily lag.

It's not possible to make so that other teams can see your name when you don't have invis effect but don't see it when you are invisible. (aka: How it works withouth teams)
