[Mod] Umija5895M; I have noticed my last comment was removed. I believe that my comment was following bug post guide lines, where I was explaining actively following up with PlayStation's Account team regarding the issue as per Mojang Support themselves' request.
Surely that's relevant to reproducing the issue as it could be a fix for the actual problem described by myself and other commenters? If speaking with PlayStation resolves the issue - then this would be a direction for all 60 people who have voted for the bug.
Of course I am very open to be directed as to why this isn't following guidelines. All I mean to say is that the comment was made in good faith to try and give as much info on the problem as possible.
If Mojang, the Mods or support have different troubleshooting to add to the ticket or to email me privately, I am very responsive to that too. Thank you

The primary purpose of the bug tracker is to provide information to Mojang to aid in reproducing a bug. The last few comments had evolved into a discussion between two users, which mainly clutter up the list by making more important comments harder to access.
Also note that Mojang can still see your previous comments, in case there is indeed useful information.

So, the problem has been created and recreated daily since this issue began. The fault is absolutely linked to any and all digital purchase of Minecraft for PS4 regardless of when purchased. With the digital version purchased on the PSN account your copy of Minecraft, even the correct retail disc version will not show the Editions button. The only remedy, after countless requests of support to Mojang's Minecraft Help. Escalations. Multiple tickets. No response on here. The only fix I found, was through PlayStation Support - which in itself was incredibly difficult. 4 different teams and the senior agents of their Special Team after weeks of investigation agreed to refund my digital purchase. They couldn't just simply remove the game from the account so a refund was the only way. After that happened I was immediately able to access the editions button, play mini games, get the remaining trophies - albeit way over the 15th anniversary.
For the remainder of this bug report, I hope that people with the sams issue will contact PlayStation support to success and I hope with every fibre that the devs at Mojang here reading this; give the editions button to everyone or some likewise fix so people don't lose out on content. Players reporting bug information at Minecraft Help support's request - should not have to squeeze the level of detail we have out of a problem only to have not a single follow up comment or action relating to the issue for multiple years. With that in mind. Remember to enable your PS5 and PS4 to primary again once you have finished doing the troubleshooting steps or you wont be able to play with local friends online without it via the editions button. Please note the editions button does work on an account that has not got the digital purchase on the same console, if the account that does is not set to primary console. Thank you.
Update & Review:
-I have a retail disc copy of Minecraft PlayStation®4 Edition purchased and used on the 13/11/2017. (Specific reference numbers in previous posts)
-On my PSN account I have a digital copy of Minecraft Bedrock Edition purchases and used on the 06/06/2020.
-As of the past few months, I have lost the ability to access the PlayStation®4 Edition via the 'Editions' Button so I am hard locked to the Bedrock Edition without the 'Editions' button. This is the case currently on any installation method of the game (much more on this below).
-I have contacted the official 'Minecraft Help' Zendesk Support Team and spoke with Jim H., Basil T. and Nick C. I have discussed in length the issues I face and the complexities of troubleshooting without guidance. This lead me to a previous ticket which was closed (
MCPE-63401) in which I was redirected here to MCPE-89347 by [Mod] OcelotOnesie.-I have reached out to PlayStation Support and have been through three different teams, Customer Support, Accounts and now the 'Special Team' today - who have explained they can't remove Digital copies of games from accounts. They have now requested if the issue is persisting that some correspondence with Mojang the Developers and myself will be needed. Presumably this will be to show Mojang actively suggesting a refund for my Digital purchase which appears to be they center of the issue explained, and why it is needed. As this is part of the Bug Resolution, and part of the demonstration of recreating the bug (more on this below), are the mods able to arrange Mojang Devs or themselves to either reply to this comment recommending the above or privately emailing me such so we can make some leeway into making a resolution?
So far the following has been attempted to unsuccessfully resolve the issue, and recreate the problem. I have tried newer methods since the last post.
-Delete the OPTIONS, and SAVES player file from within the PlayStation's data settings.
-Delete ALL save data files including Worlds.
-Delete ALL save data files from PS Plus cloud.
-Delete the Digital Version from the PlayStation and reinstall only the CUSA00265 (9440314) Retail Disc version of Minecraft PlayStation®4 Edition without internet enabled. Then creating a World in that base version of the game, saving then updating to the latest Version so I am able to access the 'Minigame' content (not available on the base version without update).
-Doing both of the above steps together.
-Deactivating my PlayStation as the Primary console on my main account.
-Deactivating the PlayStation as the Primary console on any account saved to the PlayStation. This step specifically allows another user without a digital purchase of Minecraft on PSN to access the Editions button, but only if there are no other Minecraft saves on an account who does have Minecraft bought digitally present on the entire system.
-Being invited to a game over Multiplayer on a world created on the PlayStation®4 Edition of Minecraft via "Editions" button from a friend and saving some progress in that newely created Legacy world on the system.
-Tried all of the above steps again with and without linking and signing in the account to a Microsoft Account on the front menu screen.
-Redownloading the Digital Version of Minecraft fresh with no Retail Disc version present on the system.
-Using a Bedrock Retail Disc version with no other version present on the PlayStation system.
-Checking the PlayStation is up to date to the latest firmware.
-I have tried restoring my licenses, and then restoring them again after repeating all of the above steps
To further exhaust all lines of troubleshooting I can think of All of these steps have been tirelessly attempted on both a PlayStation 5 Standard Edition (CFI-1016A), and a PlayStation 4 Pro 500 Million Edition console (CUH-7116B) both with and without expandable storage. (In the PS5's case, I removed the additional M.2 storage aswell), with installs happening both internal and external memory throughout all these steps.
Everytime the above has been attempted, the problem has been recreated without fail. There is no way from my PlayStation Network account to access a version of Minecraft Playstation®4 Edition through the 'Editions' button in Bedrock Edition. Seemingly this appears to be down to the presence of a Minecraft digital purchase on the account, even though it is not downloaded. This may in turn make sense in regards to Brad's mentioning of the flags on the game.

That's what I reported just a few comments down (with pictures!). I take it your issue Brad is that you have lost the editions button with the digital version only? Is that right?
My hope brad-frfx is that Mojang seeing the cause of the issue whether it be down to:
-The PS update around Digital or Physical
-The Minecraft Preview
-The Full Entitlement Check
-Links to PlayStation Network doing checksWill be that they put a hotfix in to either provide everyone with the editions button, or atleast for the game regardless of CUSA to prioritise older accounts or saves.
I can appreciate that Mojang are wanting to move away from the now out of date, unsupported 4J Studios content. However - two expansions of trophies are locked behind the content, not to mention the Minigame content was incredibly fun and beloved.
An alternative if the "editions" button fix is unforeseeably complex, would be to try and implement the Minigame content and trophies it as a full feature into 1.21.0. I think common consensus between here on Jira; and on the Minecraft Community Support Discord and stretching to Reddit is that; the 4J Studios features shouldn't have ever of been sunsetted as they are very loved.

This may be because my account has the purchase of the newer Minecraft Edition digitally despite using the Pre-Bedrock physical edition. Thank you.
88 different tickets about one bug and it's been going on for years. My hope is that this volume shows that players are invested in playing content they previously had access too and importantly the ability to unlock trophies they should always have access to as they could be done locally.

The patch notes specified Now, you can play the digital version of a game installed on your PS5 by inserting the disc, without having to install the disc version. This also works for any digital games other users sharing your PS5 have installed, which you have the disc for.
However - previously, the disc and digital versions of a game were considered separate entities but this has been unified in the latest update.This would be unique with Minecraft because in this instance the OLD disc version and the NEW digital version ARE separate entities in Minecraft's case.

You sir are a miracle worker. Thank you so so much! Now I just need to really understand what is not at this point in Minecraft Bedrock & PE that IS in Java so I know exactly what I would be missing. Don't suppose you have an up to date functioning list for that as well for your list of wonders?

1. If I have I have done it completely unawares. I did change the permissions originally to Visitor - it may be possible that I changed the owner permissions but as you say you'd think I would have known that. Is there a way to change owner permissions after a world is created (just in case).
2. Sadly not, I did look at changing my ID but didn't go through with it and it was before I created the world at any rate. So it couldn't have been that. I did open it to visitors can change anything but it was still invite only so I don't think it would have been that either.
I have just downloaded today - Minecraft Windows 10 Edition so I can use it for cross play. I first went in and set up a world with specific Multiplayer settings (Name: Pr) of Invite Only and Visitor on Trust Player Permissions.
When I did this I created the world and was unable to destroy/create/fight or anything really other than walk. What is peculiar is I tried changing every setting I could graphical or otherwise and nothing fixed it. I couldn't do anything in my world. I created a new world except I kept every setting as default "My World". I could and still can smash bricks and it worked as normal. I then tried changing the settings to what my original world did and that worked fine. So it's as if my settings changes on the first world (Name: Pr) have locked me out of anything for good.
Can you help and think of a fix?
