I went down to my skeleton spawner. It uses a couple of sticky pistons to crush skeletons. But, my game crashed. It had a green line of static running down from the top left corner to the middle of the bottom of the screen. I saved, and restarted minecraft. I went back about 24 hours later, and i tried to use my spawner to get some bones. But, the blocks of cobble wouldn't move. They stayed extended. So, I went in the back, checked my redstone circuit. It was fine. I checked my pistons, and they were gone. I could walk through them, but I couldn't destroy them. I took some pictures, and tried to place a block in the space the piston occupied. The block was placed, and then it disappeared, along with the piston.

EDIT:
The pistons are gone again. This time, no crash, and no out of date java. While I'll keep my old report, I'm now very confused.
when I placed a torch on the side of a grass block, the torch's hitbox was highlighted correctly, but the torch itself showed up as though placed on a block to the right, though there was no block there.

Try holding F3 and pressing "a." That reloads your chunks. It works for me.
There are two that could fit the timeframe, so I'll post both.
Two crash reports. Either could be the cause of the bug.
That problem occurs with or without the GL/3D. so, while I can reproduce, it's not the 3D that's causing the bug. Check out https://mojang.atlassian.net/browse/MC-3998 for more.
I did, game still crashes. I also tried increasing the memory allocated. Nothing helped. my pistons disappeared again. I'm glad slimes spawn in swamps, otherwise, this would get quite annoying.
Just quickly, I haven't had this problem when using shears. But I did with silk touch. (Question: Why would you use silk touch on leaves?)
I have this problem, but with solid stone walls. Stupid cows crows up my chicken farm, and kill my chickens.
Nope. All vanilla. Why is it resolved?
When I looked at it, it was closed due to mods. I haven't used any mods, so I made a new one.
I haven't had this problem. Thought, my particles are scattered all over the front, and there might be ones which are a little to the left or right too.
Ok, I have news regarding this. This was a problem I had last night. I turned my computer off. My internet was out for a bit because of "maintenance." When I turned my computer on, I played some minecraft, and the problem was fixed. I don't know if it was the reboot, or the internet.
Ok, third time now. Java is up to date, and no crash either. The pistons run on an repeating redstone current, they run forever. The push a single block of cobble each. Not sure why they disappear, but they are ruining my grinder.
The newest three pictured show how I get rid of the pistons.
I have the same problem. This didn't use to happen.
I've got the same problem. Happens in single player for me, as well as multiplayer. When it is about to crash, I get a jagged green line running from the top left corner of my screen to a point on the bottom side. My java is up to date.
Earlier, I was shift clicking items from my chest to my inventory. When I clicked the item, my java ran out of memory. When I re-opened the game, I had the stack of diamonds in my inventory, and in my chest. No crash file found, sorry. (If there is one, it's not in the usual folder.)
@Kumasasa
Well, I got a bunch of them. Will any of them do?
Three random reports.
What is a spirt? Do you mean sprint? When you sprint, your sprint turns off? What does that mean?
I have the same problem. It has happened for a couple of versions now. Similar bug reports have been thrown away as duplicates of another bug involving the end which had nothing to do with that report. I tried changing the amount of memory for java, but the amount allocated to minecraft stays the same, at a little under 500 mb.
Works w/ chests too. It doesn't work as intended, since chests shouldn't open w/ blocks on top of them.
I have the same problem. If you hit a mob a fire enchanted weapon (fire aspect sword, flame bow) and then the mob dies because of fire damage, you don't get any XP, even though you were the one to kill it.
